I, Creator

A Zero Budget Production.

Mission Statement And Goals

The goal of the production is to give undiscovered and talented unknowns a chance for their work to be seen in a direct to DVD movie that will be self-distributed. Making any feature without “name” talent in the motion picture business is pure suicide because no distributor will touch it without names they know. Thus, no investor will put their money in such a movie. So, with this in mind, this is a NO PAY work-for-hire movie. Everything will be coming out of the pockets of the producers who are ordinary working people and not the rich and elite. This is a production for die hard actors and crew people who just love to make great movies from a great script and tell a wonderful story that has more truth than fiction in the direction our world is going in.

This is the fabled Frankenstein story retold with new twists, turns, technology, and characters for the twenty-first century.

What is being offered to people who are interested in working in I, Creator are the following perks:

1.) Meals provided by the production.
2.) Screen credit for your work in the production.
3.) A copy of the final cut of the DVD.
4.) An invite to the screening party to be held in a New York City theater with catered food and soft drinks.
5.) Updates by email on what happens to the movie after it is made.

In view of what is trying to be achieved, talented film students and actors are welcome to apply for work.

The goal is to create a movie that will remind people of the old Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, and One Step Beyond, but made for today’s audience and commercially package the DVD for sale.

The Ideal Way To Shoot Zero Budget

Since this is zero budget movie, the most cost effective way to shoot is with high-end mini DV and on line the final cut straight to standard DVD. This format is compatible with all existing DVD players.

With the money saved not on lining to HD and Blu-ray, reinvesting into better lighting, sound, movie props, sets, and work with an art director to produce a better final cut.

I, Creator will have some footage shot on HD. But, that’s for storytelling POV footage inside the movie only.

Return On Assets And Payout

Since all expenses will be paid out of pocket by the producers, they are the investors of I, Creator. Like in a production with investors, the producers must be paid back in full first for their investment in the movie before any other money is distributed to anyone else. IF and WHEN the producers get their money back, deferred payment will be paid out to the cast and crew.
